On March 6, 2025, we shared our exciting journey of being an Airbnb Superhost in a special sharing session held at Starbucks Reserve Dewata. The event was attended by fellow hosts, property owners, and those just starting their journey in the hospitality industry.
The Bali Agent appointed Mia, our Marketing Manager, as the representative speaker for this sharing session. She shared many inspiring stories and practical tips that have helped The Bali Agent maintain Superhost status for many years.
From Our First Booking to Becoming Superhosts
One of the most memorable stories shared during the session came directly from Mia. She recalled how we received our very first booking on Airbnb more than a decade ago.
“We got our first booking in 2011,” Mia said with a smile as she reminisced. “At that time, communication was one of our biggest challenges because Airbnb’s messaging system wasn’t as advanced as it is today. To overcome that, we decided to provide a telephone in the villa so guests could easily contact us anytime they needed help.”
That moment became the foundation of building trust with our guests—something that has remained a core part of our hosting approach ever since.
From that first booking, our journey continued to grow. Today, The Bali Agent has proudly held Superhost status for 14 years, with 1,787 reviews and a maintained 8.48 rating, thanks to our consistent commitment to excellent service.
